Endless white sand beaches, charming fishing villages, dunes like desert and numerous types of rare flora and fauna are all found in Phan Thiet, Nha Trang and Da Nang. These destinations are a must for sea lovers when travelling to Vietnam. It hardly rains, the sky is always blue, clear and shiny. You will surprisedly and exitedly experience the beautiful contrast between red sand dunes with gentle wind and white sandy beaches with lapping waves.
Day 1: Arrival in Saigon
Welcome at Saigon airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is your own. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 2: Saigon - Mui Ne (B/L)
Leave Ho Chi Minh City by road for Phan Thiet. The scenic 200km drive north on Highway One passes through the bustling city of Bien Hoa before cutting through dense rubber plantations. Nearer to Phan Thiet the terrain changes to arid semi-desert with cactus plants and strange looking dragon fruit trees. Arrive in Phan Thiet in the late morning and check in at your resort. The rest of day is free to relax by the pool or on the sandy beach. Overnight in Phan Thiet.
Day 3: Mui Ne (B)
Free day in Phan Thiet to explore the beautiful places such as Golden Sand Dunes, Pink stream by yourself or enjoy sea bathing. Overnight in Phan Thiet.
Day 4: Mui Ne - Nha Trang (B/L)
Leave Phan Thiet for Nha Trang after breakfast. We will break the journey at Phan Rang to visit the 13th century Po Klong Jarai Cham Towers perched high on a rocky hill surrounded by prickly pear cacti. After Phan Rang, we will follow the Highway One up the coast and pass Ca Na beach to Nha Trang. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 5: Nha Trang (B/L)
A morning boat trip on Nha Trang bay. Visits some of the nearby islands and take the opportunities to swim and snorkel in the clear warm waters. After a fresh seafood lunch at one of the islands in the bay, return to shore for a short afternoon city tour including the Po Nagar Cham Towers, Long Son Pagoda with its enormous white Buddha statue and the lively Dam Market. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 6: Nha Trang - Da Nang - Hoi An (B/L)
Transfer to Cam Ranh airport for departure to Da Nang. Pick up at Da Nang airport. After check in at your hotel we will visit the Cham Museum and Marble Mountain. We continue the journey and drive to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An (B/L)
A half day trip to visit the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. Here, 40km southwest of Hoi An, in a lush green valley, are dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. After returning to Hoi An the afternoon is at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8: Departure (B)
At leisure until transferring to Da Nang Airport for onward flight.
