Day 1 : Cai Be (Floating market) – Vinh Long Island – Can Tho city
We travel out of Ho Chi Minh City, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway by green rice fields and the daily lives of the Vietnamese. Upon arrival Cai Be province, we take a leisurely motor boat ride visit the Cai Be floating market, an interesting style of market in the Mekong Delta. Every day, the boats filled with fruits, vegetables and other local products anchor along the banks of the River, waiting for traders and customers. Additionally, we can see local people being selling, buying, and exchanging goods from their boats. After that, wander into the small villages see the local people made coconut candy, rise crispy cake, popcorn, rice paper making, handicrafts workshop,…and so on.
Leave Cai Be, keep cruising through waterways on an exploration of the lush Mekong Delta region to An Binh island visit the local house and stroll on the village paths. Have lunch on the island, the local people will serve you the local delicacy. From here we have a pleasant time riding bicycles to the villages, sightseeing or relaxing on the hammock. At here we have a good time to relax on the rowing boat into small canals or at least enjoy moments of peace of the countryside. Then continue on boat to Vinh Long city for visit Vinh Long local market. The bus will take us to Can Tho overnight at hotel.
Day 2 : Can Tho (The biggest floating market) – Long Xuyen – Chau Doc
In the morning, we will take a motor boat trip visit the floating market (the biggest floating market in Mekong). There are thousand boats from small to big gather on a part of river to do their daily business with the agriculture produces like fruits and vegetables (many kind of fruits & vegetables of the tropic weather). Later we will stop at the rice noodle and the rice husking mill village to see how the local people produce their produces. Then we will stop at Can Tho market and proceed to Long Xuyen by bus for visit the crocodile farm then continue to Chau Doc. Upon arrival, check-in at Floating Hotel (river view).
Day 3 : Chau Doc – Phnom Penh
In the morning, we will take a motor boat trip visit the floating village (also called fish farms, the cages are under the house). You will have a chance to get on the floating fish-cages to see feed the fish. Then the journey continue to Phnom Penh. Arrive at Sisowath tourist dock in Phnom Penh. End of services.
