Day 1 : Saigon – My Tho + Ben Tre “4 Island” – Can Tho City (L)
We travel out of Ho Chi Minh City, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway by green rice fields and the daily lives of the Vietnamese. Upon arrival at My Tho, take a leisurely motor boat ride along the river, view of the four islands: Dragon island, Unicorn island, Tortoise island and Phoenix island. Special visit My Tho fishing village (also called fish farms), view the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise island visit the coconut home land to enjoy coconut candy, visit handicrafts workshop.
Enjoy a boat ride through Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadow of the water coconut trees visit the family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, see the bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea while enjoy traditional folk music (also called Don Ca Tai Tu). Have lunch on the island, the local people will serve you the local delicacy. At here we have a good time to relax on the rowing boat into small palm canals or at least enjoy moments of peace of the countryside. The best place to see the activities on the rivers of the water zone people, after walking through the fruit plantation village. The bus will take us to Can Tho to get the accommodation (bungalow-home stay, hotel). Bungalow–home stay is highly recommended. Stay overnight in Bungalow-homestay, we will have a small party dinner with plenty of foods and have a chance to learn how to cook Vietnamese foods. It is also a good chance to experience the activities of the local people at night in small village of Mekong.
Day 2: Can Tho - Long Xuyen - Chau Doc ( B)
In the morning, we will take a motor boat trip visit the floating market (the biggest floating market in Mekong). There are thousand boats from small to big gather on a part of river to do their daily business with the agriculture produces like fruits and vegetables (many kind of fruits & vegetables of the tropic weather). Later, we will stop at the rice noodle and the rice husking mill village to see how the local people produce their produces. Then, the boat made another cruises around the small countryside of Can Tho. Here, we will have a chance to experience how to pass a "Monkey bridge" which is built by only one bamboo before the bus transferring back the town for lunch and proceed to Chau Doc by bus, via Long Xuyen to visit the crocodile farm. Check-in hotel on arrival in Chau Doc. Admire the landscape from the Sam Mountain summit down the Vietnamese-Cambodian border, visit the cave pagoda. Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 3: Chau Doc - Phnom Penh (B)
After breakfast, take a motor boat trip through the floating village and visit the fish farm to see how the Mekong Delta people raise fish from their floating houses. Visit the Cham minority in their traditional weaving village. Transfer to the pier for the final part of the journey to Phnom Penh. Arrive at Sisowath tourist dock in Phnom Penh. End of services.
